Monday, August 12th, 2041: There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Willie Flock, the Regina catcher, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Western League Player of the Week honors.
Flock piled up 15 hits in 25 at-bats, 1 home run and 10 RBIs while hitting .600.
In his stats this season, Flock has posted a batting average of .351 with 168 hits in 479 at-bats, 21 home runs and 93 RBIs. He has also scored 73 runs, walked 60 times and compiled a .424 OBP. |

Monday, August 12th, 2041: It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Jim Anthony, the Niagara Rapids 24-year-old catcher, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Eastern League Player of the Week honors.
He ripped 9 hits in 22 at-bats, compiling a .409 average with 3 home runs and 13 RBIs.
For the year Anthony is batting .297 with 13 home runs, 72 RBIs and 52 runs scored. |

Sunday, August 11th, 2041: Relying on pinpoint control and a good array of pitches, Carlos Ibarra of the Richmond Hill Moonshots held the Yellowknife Diamonds scoreless today. He scattered 3 hits over 10 innings and fanned 9 on his way to the 1-0 victory.
